"The greatest wealth is health." – Virgil, Roman poet

I sudied the fundamentals of nutrition, including macronutrients (carbs, fats, proteins), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), and how they affect human health. A possessed solid understanding of the human body and its systems is crucial to understanding how nutrients are absorbed, metabolised, and utilised. Learned about the biochemical processes involved in metabolism, such as how food is broken down and how energy is produced. I studied the chemical composition of food and how microorganisms in food can affect health. I have learnt about nutrition at a population level, including how to promote healthy eating habits within communities. This involves learning how to manage diseases (like diabetes, hypertension, etc.) through diet.
I am laying the foundation to make a real impact on people's health by telling how food affects the body and how to use nutrition to prevent or manage health conditions. The work with people is diverse, rewarding, and have a strong focus on improving the well-being of individuals and communities.
